In a meeting you can 'Add Poll' - this poll will show up on the meeting page and in the polls section. If a poll is created in a meeting, only the meeting members will be able to see the poll.
A poll can be added to a meeting and not be published yet. See example:
An Admin, Group Owner or meeting Collaborator can create a poll without publishing it. See example:
Once the poll is published, all meeting members can be prompted to vote via email, or see on the meeting page a poll is open to vote on:
